What is the
‘New Age’ Movement All About? At the close of each century, according to Theosophical literature, all mankind experiences an internal urge for spiritual growth. This evolutionary impetus accelerated in the early ‘50s and by the ‘70s was in full swing. Numerous ‘New Age’ organizations and vendors arose to offer experiential programs, chanting, meditation, songs, music, dance, yoga exercises, and with all it’s weird paraphernalia crystals, pyramids, incense – to encourage a deep seated spiritual need that religions have failed to supply. Following the precepts laid out in the Kabalistic four world model; would suggest that in the arena of spiritual growth, there are four major levels or divisions, and they will be related to chronological age of growth. The four Spiritual Ages of man are : Level #1-Eight years old, Level #2-Sixteen years old, Level #3-Twenty One years old, and Level #4, Thirty Three years old. Please remember these are not physical , mental or emotional ages, but Spiritual Ages. At each Level, there are of course many sub-divisions of at the very least 10 subsets– but we shall only describe the four basic ones. While one physically matures normally as age progresses, yet, the brain and mind may not follow the physical growth in a linear path. Likewise the emotional growth can be severely stunted by abnormal behavior of the parents, siblings, & peers. You only need to see a sixty year old man driving like a hot-rod teenager to recognize that emotional maturity is not dependant upon one’s chronological age. Or look at TV, where the median age they advertise to and aim their programming at is an emotional age of 16! Titillating sex sit-coms abound. Look at the simplistic ads during political campaigns, or the rugged macho man in his gas guzzling, 4-wheel drive SUV, climbing mountains, crossing streams, traversing jungles– yep- he buys one at inflated prices to drive down paved highways in the city and suburbia! (And he never uses his 4-wheel drive mode) TV adds promise instant gratification, Native intelligence is the result of parents DNA, nutrition and the incoming soul. Also do not confuse intelligence with education, they are not the same thing. I have seen educated fools with PhD’s. The development of the mind and its attendant emotions is the result of the parent’s ability and capacity to give the child love, safety, and nourishment. Do not interchange the meanings of religion and spirituality; they are not necessarily the same thing. Religions are created by men-prophets who ‘get a message’ and believe they have heard from a GOD or Gods. You do not need religion to be a spiritual person, but it can help you understand. At Levels One(8) & Two(16), hold you on the path until you’re ready to go to Level Three(21). If you truly want to improve your ‘Spirit’ and ‘Soul’ then MEDITATION is the most single important tool you can employ. “Be Still and Know That I AM “ You were a spirit before being born; you’ll be that after death. The Sexton (Janitor) in the church can be more spiritually evolved that the Bishop he serves, or he may even be a savant, of little apparent intelligence, but yet wiser in spirit. Most religions of man claim exclusivity, only theirs is the ‘True One’, how can they all be right? Each has only a partial picture, each emphasizing a particular aspect. Yet through them all runs a golden thread of spirit, as man evolves, he becomes more aware of his true nature, but he must wait until he has passed through the lower levels before receiving the advanced ‘mathematics.’ You can not denigrate someone who is in ordinary school in first grade because they don’t know Calculus, they are not capable of understanding it’s complexity at this age. Likewise, our spiritual growth is a process of maturing gently and slowly; we all are on an evolutionary spiritual path, each at his own pace or level and circumstance. 1. LEVEL ONE: The spiritual age here is eight years old... One is in the parent’s home and under their protection, being feed, clothed, housed and taught the ‘dangers out there’. Parents are the primary source of ‘what to do’ and ‘what not to do’. While love is espoused, it often takes the tack of extreme strict observance of the ‘Rules’; punishment is severe and meted out sometimes with tragic results to the child. The tender ego of the child is dramatically affected. Parents are often caught in the enigma of doing exactly what they have told their children ‘not to do’; or “ Don’t do as I do, do as I Say”. An excellent book that explains the Parent-Child relationships is the best seller back in the ‘70s, “I’m OK, Your OK”. The ingrained Parent-Child relationship persists into adulthood, never graduating beyond. This Parent-Child structure is also seen in the religions of man, the work place, and the rulers of countries or their basic structure. 1.1 RELIGIONS: If one were to look at the ‘Religions of Man’, there are some obvious examples. The Fundamentalist (regardless of what religion you cite) where strict observance of the ‘Rules’ are required, violate them and there are severe consequences; ‘An Eye for an Eye’ and usually much more. ‘Woe be unto them’ that are deemed ‘The Enemy’ – for them- is swift retribution and intense vengeance. Its cruelty knows no bounds. “I am right and you are wrong”, therefore I am justified. The ‘Father’ figure is supreme, whatever he says, you blindly accept as ‘Truth’ , ‘Father knows Best’, ‘Don’t Question my Authority’ , ‘I’ll tell you what to think’, ‘How dare you question me’. You are not allowed to either question nor think for yourself, you’re kept in a perpetual state of childhood. 1.2 INDUSTRY: In the commercial world, likewise there are Bosses who treat their underlings with disdain, are aloof, verbal abuse, sexual harassment, favoritism, and nepotism. You’ve probably had a boss who was an S.O.B. The threat of being fired at any moment places a severe threat to your sense of well being. The large industrialists of the 1860's through to current times, abused people, manipulated governments, eliminated competition to achieve total control and amass huge fortunes no matter what the method, legal or illegal. They are characterized by their ruthless and conniving methods. 1.3 GOVERNMENTS: Here we see the far right and the far left types of totalitarian heads of state, (Hitler and Stalin respectively) also kingdoms, and tribes. Here the total structure of society is controlled from the very top to the bottom. Here one is reminded of the Taliban that controlled Afghanistan, using their fundamentalists religious concepts to govern a country . They are ruthless and unforgiving of any deviation from their own self-made ‘Rules’. 1.4 SUMMARY OF LEVEL ONE: 80% OF THE WORLD’S POPULATION EXIST UNDER THIS CATEGORY. 2.0- LEVEL TWO: Spiritual age of sixteen. You’re still at home, under the protective wing of your parents, but you are now beginning to reason and think for yourself, becoming more independent, the sex hormones are raging. The personality is yet being formed and subject to wide variations and emotional roller-coasters. You are pulling away from your parents, and hopefully, they guide you in this time of rapid physical and emotional turmoil. Very susceptible to peer pressure, must conform, must have the ‘right’ -‘in’ clothes. 2.1 RELIGIONS; Here at sixteen, we see more tolerant forms, modifying their previous stance in some areas, likened to the Catholic church prior to the 40's where you were not allowed to read the Bible, but rather get your instruction from the Priest or Nuns only. The Martin Luther (1483-1546) protest movement created the Protestant factions that split away from Rome. So you see a ‘relaxing’ of the ‘rules’ to some degree, but in other areas, a tightening; i.e., the Methodist ban on dancing, etc. At this level, you are encouraged to read the bible, (Koran-Etc) question, learn, hopefully solidifying your own internal faith. (Not externally imposed). Here your spirituality has matured but still tied very strongly to ‘your church’, you’re still in your ‘father’s house’. Perhaps you might get the impulse to learn meditation, but delay and hold back because they do not teach its techniques. They only talk about meditation, but do not practice. 2.2 INDUSTRIAL: Here companies that were literally forced to accept Unions and bargaining with employees have begun to offer more appealing workplace conditions and benefits. ‘A Happy Employee’ is an asset and productivity dramatically improves. Flex-time, baby sitters, maternal leave, more vacation time and pay scales that reflect the current range of compensation in the field. Female promotions, and racial equality, ‘it doesn’t make any difference how you look, but rather how you perform. 2.3 GOVERNMENTS; Here we see democracies and benevolent kingdoms. The levels at which democracies operate vary widely, but here we see public participation with open voting, perhaps without coercion. Most democracies are not truly democratic in functioning, but rather in the republic mode of governing by consent. Civil rights rears its ugly head, civil disobedience brings attention to discrimination of race, creed, gender, orientation, causing society and government to change to more moderate views and laws. The politicians are a mix of Level One and Two personalities. All the innate corruption that exists at Level One is also at Level Two. Where there is a ‘Buck to be made’ some men will figure out a fancy scheme to defraud. The so-called white collar crime is evidently quite rampant with little respect as to the sheer chaos it is causing. (Case in point, Enron Corp.) Within the confines of government agencies we often find completely amoral operations; pretending to serve the public, while in reality serving those who bribe or kowtow to political party whims of those in power/office at the moment. The infamous off-shore banks with their secret accounts that hide the transfer of millions of dollars are too well known to be denied. The consulting and construction companies that funnel kickbacks are all too common. 2.4 SUMMARY OF LEVEL TWO: 18% OF WORLD’S POPULATION EXIST AT THIS LEVEL.
3.0 LEVEL THREE; the spiritual age is twenty one. You are on your own, have you own home/apartment, self supporting, independent of your parent’s financial aid, ‘rowing your own boat’, perhaps working your way through college. You’ve begun scanning the horizons for different philosophies, religions, new experiences, selecting a life time mate. 3.1 You have a well established moral code. You may not consciously know your path, but circumstance seems to lead you in the right path at the right time, your ‘teacher’ shows up unbidden. You have become your astrological sign, integrity, and ego less service is now hallmarks. A master in your field, competent, sure, and can laugh at your own foibles and correct your mistakes. You have reached the ‘Adult to Adult’ state that is related in the book, “Im OK, You’re OK”, a mental and emotional maturity, as well as spiritual. 3.2 You begin to explore the inner world via meditation, Thai-Chi, Yoga and its variations. Join ‘New Age’ groups; attend weekend seminars, workshops, retreats. Become a voracious reader of esoteric literature, slowly you assimilate and modify your inner world. You become the teacher, (learning more each time you teach) gentle but firm. All knowing, you become a pan-theist, seeing the golden thread through all of man’s religions, while maintaining your own ties to your religious roots, understanding its short comings, working from within to help its evolution onward to greater spiritual maturity.
3.3 No church ,college, or university can teach maturity, only life’s travails can teach ordinary maturity, but spiritual maturity requires a knowledge of the basic tenants of your chosen religion. You integrate all into a whole, but alone with your own soul as it seeks its maker. There are hundreds of steps to get to the next level, ‘Transfiguration’ ; body mind and spirit are totally integrated. But you can not get there without Service, Service, Service . You must be a ‘Volunteer’, with no mind of payment in kind, for ‘The Soul Knows Not Money’. The ancient Kabbalah is your faithful guide through the enigmas of the Bible, it ties the ‘Old’ and ‘New Testaments’ together with a golden thread, “Christ Within’. The bible now becomes a physics book! 3.4 SUMMARY; 1.9999999999---% OF WORLDS POPULATION HAVE NOW REACHED THIS LEVEL.
4.0 LEVEL FOUR; SPIRITUAL AGE OF 33. Transfiguration has signaled that you have successfully completed all your trials and tribulations, mastery of the Earth’s elements is now your rod and staff, miracles ensue, you ‘walk on water’, etc. You have become the word, and the word is GOD, YHVH, the Father and you are one. The ‘Christ Within You” has placed the missing capstone of the pyramid on the first three levels, changing ‘666’(sign of the beast) to ‘555’ (The sign of man) The level one and two religions can not stand to see their kingdoms collapsed, they conspire and crucify. Yet ascension occurs, you live, you come back and show your wounds to a Doubting Thomas. Spirit is immortal, beyond time and space. “All of these things I do, you can do also ”The last one to achieve this level on Earth came two thousand years ago! He came to demonstrate his position on the ‘Tree of Life’ and the path. The golden age of Aquarius is coming into fruition, and the ‘New Age’ movement is its mother and nursemaid. * The basic concept for this tome was garnered from a paper back book in the 70’s ( of which I can not remember the title, nor author- of Irish decent Mac or Mc –) which traced the lives of Saints and he separated them into four epochs or stages. Studying the ancient Kabbalah, I immediately saw a correspondence to the four worlds, hence allocated, the four epochs to the evolutionary spiritual ages of man. The percentages allocated to each level were my own observations and of course subject to interpolation. |

USPA’s BOOK HOT OFF THE PRESS! The USPA’s first attempt at book publishing is now out and available to our membership and the general public. “Energetic Processes”, Vol.1; Interaction between Matter, Energy and Consciousness was ready in time for our conference in July. This project began last year with a proposal by Board Member, Tom Valone, to utilize the facilities of Exlibris Corp, a computer publishing house. The book would be printed by a computer and they publish each book upon an order. We do not have to print say a minimum of 500 or 1000 copies and store them. Recently received a phone call asking if someone in USPA could verify the efficacy of a homeopathic remedy that the individual had made. As the conversation proceeded, the caller was self instructed in both Radionics and Homeopathics. Queering how he made his remedy, he cited the computer files of homeopathic remedies, by sequentially listing the symptoms, he arrived at the ‘proper’ concoction. Next he obtained a xerox copy of a Malcom Rae card and proceeded to potentize with it. He said the only difference was that the copy was slightly smaller than the original, did that make any difference? YES was my answer, not size but rather the Xerox copy was useless, did he understand the basic principles behind Rae’s system? No he admitted, he did not. Did he know what the ‘Fundamental Ray’ was? , No., The ‘Fundamental Ray’ is a beam of Etheric energy being emitted from any substance , at an angle with respect to the magnetic North pole. It is found by placing the item on a wooden table in the center of a paper circle marked off with the compass angles of 360 deg. The operator faces West, sitting on a wooden chair– note: all wood so as to not distort the Earth’s natural field– (using metal table/chairs will shift the results, as well as metal pipes under the immediate floor area. Using a pendulum, it begins to swing, if clockwise (CW) , then the ray is in the first half from zero to 180 deg. If the pendulum starts CCW, then the ray is from 180 to 360 deg. Eventually it will swing in a line which then gives the angle, say for example 26 deg. which is the fundamental ray of copper sulfide. Or one can use an ordinary pencil and starting at top of the circle at Zero deg., slowly going CW point along the arc until a ‘Yes’ answer is indicated for the question, ‘what is the fundamental ray’? (Copper sulfide was used by George DeLaWarr to calibrate his Radionic camera, assuring that all his settings were correct before he proceeded with any other exposures. Incidentally, 26 deg. Is the half angle of the slant height angle of 52 deg. in the Great Pyramid. The quarter angle of 13 deg. is used on the obverse side on the Seal of Solomon to cryptically reveal all the secrets of electricity and magnetism, using that angle to show the West to East flow that creates magnetism. The 1/8 angle is the Neg. Green ray that mummifies in the pyramid.) Once you have found the Fundamental Ray, ask for the next ray, then the next, etc. Hence the pattern of angles represented the item being analyzed. Keep the size ratios as per original, with the five circles (levels) and lines across top to isolate the titles. Originally Malcom Rae used India ink(has magnetic particles) to make his cards, when inserted in the ‘transmit box’, it had to be orientated to Magnetic North, he later placed a small disc magnet , with the North pole facing the card, hence you could place the box in any position. With mass production , the cards were printed with magnetic ink. The Xerox copiers do not use magnetic inks, hence they are in fact useless! If you are going to copy the cards, use either old fashioned India ink( if you can find it, the squids ink has magnetic particles in it, that’s why India ink worked!)or magnetic ink , which is used on the bottom of checks to rapidly sort them at the banks. Sacred geometry, shapes, angles, materials, crystals all perform mysterious things which are now just being deciphered, and the world of the unknown is slowly revealing her secrets. Finis. REB
