THE 31st ANNUAL USPA CONFERENCE

July 15th-18th, 2005 at the University Plaza Hotel, Columbus, Ohio.

 

Theme: “ Integrating Subtle Energies, Science and Intuition”

 

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Dr. Norm Shealy, M.D. PhD.  For many years a practicing neurosurgeon and leading expert in pain control. He devised and patented the TENS unit. In the forefront of using medical intuitives in his practice where he found that they were just as accurate as some of the major health centers at diagnosis, at greater than 80%  correct., Retired from practice in 1999 and now is President of the Holos University Graduate Seminary. Hundreds of research papers and author of several books, “The Self-Healing Workbook”, “ The Creation of Health” with co-author, Caroline Myss,

    

He will present a two hour talk on Friday evening presenting his latest research using very high frequencies at specific acupuncture points to regulate various bodily chemical functions and significantly improve quality of life. He is the keynote speaker at the Awards Banquet Dinner Saturday evening.  He also will give a three hour workshop on Sunday evening presenting the materials in his up coming book to released this fall, “Youthful Aging-Secret of the Fountain of Youth”. If accepted, the lecture periods are 45 minutes (except for keynote speakers). All talks are audio & video taped. You will have full conference privileges, all lectures, Wine & Cheese Reception Friday evening in Atrium of exhibit area, the Sat. night Awards Banquet Dinner & Dance, and free audio tape of your presentation, videos’ & proceedings at cost, $10 & $20. Workshops are not included, you provide your own transportation & lodging.  

 

DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS IS APRIL 30, 2005.

Presenters are expected to submit a formal written paper for inclusion in the USPA proceedings for 2005. It should be copy ready on 8-1/2” x 11”  paper with ¾” borders, single spaced, single sided, not less than #10 font size., not exceeding 40 pages.                                                                                                                            

 

DEADLINE FOR FORMAL PAPERS IS JUNE FIRST

Original research papers will be given priority over existing state of the art topics.  For the new presenter; you can obtain an overview of previous presentations by going to our web site and looking at our listings of prior year’s conference tapes.

 

If you wish to be an exhibitor, Phone (262)742-4790. Presenters will receive one table free, additional tables @$20 ea. (Limit : total of 3) registration fee plus 10% of gross receipts due at end on conference, Sunday 5PM. Note we only have space for 25-30 exhibitors, so get your request in early.  We will have a book store, operated by Phoenix Books of Columbus, OH.  You may wish to an exhibitor only, in that event, you pay for every table you reserve. FRIDAY JULY 15TH CONFERENCE COMMENCES

Registration OPENS 10:30AM; Lectures starts at 1:30PM. – ALL LECTURES ARE AUDIO AND VIDEO TAPED BY USPA FOR SALE; YOU MAY NOT TAPE OR PHOTOGRAPH ANY OF THE TALKS. We duplicate the audio tapes at conference, the video tapes take an additional 8-10 weeks to deliver. Exhibit Hall & Bookshop Opens 1:30PM.

Lectures, dual track-1:30-5:30PM

Friday Evening, 7:30-9:30PM, Dr. Norm. Shealy - (single track)

10:00PM Wine & Cheese Reception in Atrium, get together & talk, meet new people.

 

Saturday, July 17th.  9-10AM Coffee & Rolls & brief membership meeting.

                                    10:15am  to 5:00PM lectures, double track.

Sat. Evening, Awards Banquet Dinner/Dance, 7:30PM cash bar, 8:00 Dinner, 8:45 Awards & Keynote by Dr. Norm. Shealy , 9:30PM-Onwards, dancing-live music, Jerry Wolf Trio, cash bar.

WORKSHOPS (a separate fee item)  BEGIN SUNDAY EVENING 7-10PM, FOUR TRACKS , Monday, 9AM-12 & 1:30-4:30PM. Each session is 3 hrs long @$35/session. You may sign up for workshops at conference, after seeing various speakers and decide which ones you wish to attend.

 

Beginners Radionics School is on Monday 9AM-4:30PM @$70; Limit of 35 students. This is the only workshop we urge you to pre-register for, first  come, first serve .
